Open Question: Why do fetishists get such bad raps?

Why do they? It seems like in our world today,if you have a fetish (no matter weather your a girl or a guy with a fetish). If you have a fetish then your not going along with the rest of the normal ways. It seems like if you enjoy and like sex then your okay and your fine. But it seems like fetishists get a bad rap right from the gate. And i for one am one of those fetishist i'm a 25 year old with several fetishes. No they are not as out there as some fetishes are but still they are not totally normal either. But me and others get the bad rap by the vast amount of people,sure some people understand me and get me and know where i'm coming from. And for note my fetishes are Girls bare feet Girls farting (that's one of my more stronger passions (no pun intended and fetish that i have) Tickling Fetishists aren't freaks as long as nobody gets seriously seriously hurt in the act,then what's the big deal?
