Open Question: Is this a terrible thing?

Is this a bad thing or not? I have a foot fetish and for whatever reason I seem to talk about feet with girls, more so online, that I know. I don't actually come out with it, but the level of conversation allows them to guess and then ask me "Do you have a foot fetish?" - I actually think it's some sort of problem I have, where I enjoy running the risk of these people finding out, weird yeah probably. So, a lot of people know now, and I worry, is it a terrible thing? As people say, there are worse things to be interested in, and it's not a crime to like feet, as much as some people think it should be ... ha ha. Anyway, there is one woman, in her 40's or so and she was tagged in a photo on FB by two of her friends and it shows her (bare) foot pointing towards a beer mat, that had a drawing of a girl on it, and a name, now I think the name looked like mine, but she insists it's hers (we have 4 letter in our names, and would look similar from a distance) ... She said it was all a joke about her and shrimping, and nothing to do with me (which I now know is toe sucking) ... Would you believe her? or do you think it was a joke dig at me, but she is trying to cover it up? I get that people say you should just not worry about stuff and don't care what people think, and I don't as such, just a little niggle/worry inside of me that does Sorry for the long text, thanks to any people who provide a response.
