Open Question: Shoes does any one really pay attention to them? type of shoes you notice the most?

Are shoes something that is important to the impression you get of a woman or man? Does it really matter the type of shoe and if it goes with the outfit either male or female. My husband says that if you pay attention to shoes, it must be a foot fetish that a person has. Would you agree?
