Open Question: Mixed signals from a guy friend?

I like this guy and I became friends with him because I thought/think he liked me too. I spend most of my free time with him (typically 4+ hours a day) and I'm not the one who is always initiating the hanging out, he wants me to come over a lot of the times. He has never told me he specifically likes me but there are things he does that make me think he does. He found out I'm ticklish and he does this every time we hang out, multiple times. He also has no problem when we are sitting next to each other if our legs/ bodies are pressed together. We went with a group to a haunted house and he was right behind me when I went in first and he put his hands on my waist through most of it because I said I didn't want to go first. Whenever we are talking, he will look into my eyes and nowhere else. But then one of his friends had been flirting with me (I wasn't flirting back) and I had mentioned it and he said "D*mn ____ always flirting with my female friends I bring them over." I mentioned I don't like people touching my feet and he said "What if you got a boyfriend that has a foot fetish?" It's just little off-hand comments like this that make me confused. Do you think he likes me or is this all in my imagination?
