Open Question: I kind of feel guilty about how I reacted?

Well I kind of overreacted when my boyfriend told me that he has a foot fetish. He told me that he wanted to lick and worship my feet and I kind of made a huge deal about it and now we had a fight all over something as small as this. When I apologize, what should I say?
