Open Question: Why would someone pay rent?

I have a question me and my husband are currently renting a room to a 24 year old male for 350 dollars a month who's an acquittance of a friend of ours. We rented the room because he said it was near his work however; we found out that is not the case he has foot fetish. Seems he wanted to rent so we can he can see barefeet and soles since he knows where in flip flops or barefoot he does join us to watch TV since there is no TV in that room so I'm sure he's getting a thrill but he also gave us access to his 2010 Nissan GTR that his parents bought what to think of that so hes a good person and so on what should we do having access to his car and so on and him paying rent to us when he doesn't have to any advice.
