Open Question: why does this guy want me desperately?

ive known this guy for a year. its like he is obsessed with me. he is ready to spend all his money on me & i have never shown any interest in him. i told him from the beginning i dont like him like that but for a year he is still trying to be with me. instead of us having a nice friendship which i tried but couldnt because he gets so angry and would then not want to help me otherwise i had no choice but to tell him maybe if he stops some of the things he does we will have a chance together because he does have problems & has called me some of the meanest things and the most i have done to deserve that is not showing interest. i mean u cant make someone feel a certain way he should have listened and not try to have his way. i had no place to go & it was really bad at my home and some bad things happened so he helped me out alot and with quite a bit of money. its like he is obsessed with me. he says he has a foot fetish and he likes my feet. or maybe because i am a different race than him and its like exciting, also im the first girl out of his race that he is interested in cause i cant say dated cause we havent dated. if i stopped talking to him and i have twice already its like his world ends. even if i am the biggest bitch to him he still wants me. i dont know if this guy is just trying to get some or if he actually really likes me. he says he does but with some of the things that has come out of his mouth to me and about me, like whor, talking about my race, i dont feel bad to lead him on. he tries to say he is such a great person but a great person wouldnt do that, anyone with money can give it away especially if they are after something they really want. I am very attractive and he is not. He trips if I don’t answer his calls and text me I swear over 10 times in like a matter of 3 minutes. I got 60 txt from him one day just cause I didnt answer my phone plus non stop calling to my phone and he called to a hotel where I was staying looking for me, lied and said im his girlfriend and he is checking on me. He is like psycho. Always accuses me of the most ridiculous things. what do you think, love or lust?
