alright ive never had a problem with a puppy chewing on shoes. Romeo has bones to chew on and toys (none of which look like foot wear)i can only guess the reason as being he likes the taste of sweat. any ideas on how to break him of this habit before i spend a fortune replacing my mothers prized horde of shoes?ive tried making her put the shoes on the rack that my dad made for her but she refuses to do so and gets mad when Romeo takes them, hides them and eats them. todays victim are luckily only a 4 dollar pair of flip flops that i might be able to repair...somehow.any ideas ? he also has what the vet called oral fixation.i may be wrong but doesnt that happen if they werent raised around their mother or something like that>?i was over at the breeders kennel every week to check on him and to pay the breeder. he was with his mother and two sisters inside the kennel, it was always very clean. any idea why he may have oral fixation?any ideas?i take him for a long walk every morning before it gets to hot and ppl start letting their d0gs run loose like mad.ive taught him how to fetch but he will only bring back the Frisbee , ball and bones. he actually goes in a full out run when we see him grab a shoe
