Open Question: Would touching and smelling a woman's foot makes me a sex offender?

Please don't call me a pervert or anything like that. i'm not asking this question to be judged. I'm a shoe salesman with a foot fetish but never misrespect anyone. But today, this woman with really small feet came to try shoes at my store and i couldn't take it anymore. I asked her if i could perform a sizing and asked her if she could remove her socks. She said yes and I stared measuring her foot, I told her how small they were and she was laughing all the time. Then I asked her what kind of soap did she used and then I started to smell her feet, she was laughing all the time. Everything was ok until her husband called in her cellphone and she in - in her language- because she was spanish, started to telling him what happened. She was not agraviated or upset, but she sounded kinda weirded up even thought she still laughing. I had to leave because it looked like her husband was going to pick her up and she was waiting for him. Im scared first for my job and the embarrasment if she or her husband report me to the manager but also I want to know if this can carry legal allegations. I'm not a pervert, Is just that this time I couldn't control myself anymore. Please let me know. Please if anyone have legal experience help me out.
