I was walking down oxford street and decided to take a short cut through the smaller lanes and as I neared Oxford Circus I saw this guy having a chat with a younger woman. As I approached she left and he asked me for a minute of my time. I wasn't in a hurry, so I stopped. He explained he needed help, as he was a student in the London School of Fashion (which conveniently has a campus in Oxford Circus) and he was doing a report regarding high heels and how comfortable they are. He then started asking me questions about what type of shoes I wear, how often do I use them, what are the highest heels I own...etc..etc.. Finally, he looked down at the high heels I was wearing and he asked if I could demonstrate what I did when my feet got tired or started to hurt. I explained to him, that I might sit for a coffee or at a bistro and dangle them, perhaps even slip out of them for a minute or two. He then insisted that I show him. So I grudgingly obliged and I slipped one of my feet out of my open waisted white stilettos. I did it very quickly as I was starting to get a little uncomfortable. He persisted though and asked me to slip my foot completely out of my shoe and show him what else I did. At which point I told him I was very busy and needed to leave. He then asked which direction I was going, as he was also heading towards Oxford Circus. I told him I wasn't heading in that direction and left as soon as possible. It was really weird, I think he just had a shoe fetish and wasn't really doing a project for his university at all. How gullible am I!?!
