Open Question: Why would anyone buy used socks of ebay?

So my curiosity got the best of and I started searching ebay for really weird stuff to see if people sell them, or furthermore if people would actually buy them. Check this auction out for example http://cgi.ebay.com/WOMENS-used-worn...photohos ting if you read the whole thing it says something about not showing bare knees or feet in the picture. This particular item actually has a few bids on it. What the heck? Is this some kind of weird fetish for men? I truly don't get it, but it seems as if there is something more to it that I am not getting. I mean if people can get $26+ for a pair of used socks I have a drawer FULL of old socks?? WTF?Well i did a little more research myself and it turns out that they pretty much are for foot fetish people. Freakin' weird.
