Open Question: why are people homophobic?

i don't understand this. i don't feel like its my business to judge another person for being motivated sexually by something that i might not be. people have foot fetishes... i don't hate people with foot fetishes... i don't really get it but i don't dislike a person for being into that kind of thing. people don't CHOOSE to like what they like... they just do. i don't think its a choice to be homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual. heterosexuals, homosexuals and bisexuals don't CHOOSE to like what they like, they just do. but people hate them for being the way they are.in my opinion as long as it is consensual, to each their own. i don't judge and i don't hate, i just understand that people are different and people being different from one another is normal. live and let live.
