Open Question: Ladies, why do girls freak out about foot fetishes?

I think girls' feet are pretty, just like any other part of their body, so why is liking a girl's butt so normal, while liking her feet is other worldly?Plus girls like to get pedicures and put their feet into high heels and cute shoes, so why's it so weird to pay attention to a girl's feet?
