Open Question: Does my potential employer have a foot fetish?

I had an interview today for a part time house cleaning/house sitter job. The agency verified all the employers information and after the agency contacted me and said all checked out the employer then contacted me and set up an interview at his home. His home is a nice large home in an upscale neighborhood. Well when i got there i introduced myself. He was an older man maybe in his mid 50's, divorced, and lives alone. Well immediately upon entering his home he asked me politely if i could remove my shoes. I didnt think much at first cause i noticed that his home had a light color carpet and figured he must be a neat freak. Well i always have my toes painted and pedicured so i took off my heels and was completely barefoot. He interviewed me for a while asking the general questions. Then he gave me a tour of his house and all the rooms that i would be attending to. Then he told me that he preferred that i was barefoot (without socks) while i clean his home. I found this kinda strange but then again i thought well its carpeted so i can see why. But i love being barefoot and was planning on being barefoot inside anyways so it didnt matter to me. Well i got to thinking more and was wondering. Does this guy have a foot fetish or is just very particular about cleanliness? Then i figured if he does have a foot fetish then how would he see me barefoot in his house since he would not be there when iam there? Would he just fantasize knowing i was barefoot in his home or maybe he has hidden cameras? Anyone offer any input?
