Open Question: Why is interracial pornography the most popular?

I read a recent study that talked about how interracial pornography was the fastest growing genre, and was set to overtake anal sex for the number one spot in the near future. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a great thing. I am currently dating a handsome older African American man and definitely think more ladies should "mix it up" like I am. But what confuses me is the biggest consumers of porn are white guys, which means the biggest consumers of interracial porn are white guys. It sort of creeps me out so many white boys want to get off on what goes on between me and my African American boyfriend behind closed doors.When I had my Facebook profile picture set to being just me, I got a normal amount of messages and friend requests from guys, but the other day when I set it to a picture of me kissing my African American boyfriend, I got bombed with hundreds of messages and friend requests from white guys hitting on me, yuck! Why do so many white guys seem to prefer women who have had sexual encounters with African American men before? It seems like a very odd fetish to me, and right when I finally got my head wrapped around the whole 'foot fetish" thing, haha.
