(Kinda long, but worth it) This theme is recurring and is almost ubiquitous, and anyone could create a 1,000 different angles to approach it; but i'll go with this particular incident that I just happened to come across a few minutes ago. I was perusing Craigslist's "Adult Gigs" section, and list after list you see "Looking for women, $500-$2000 a day!" "Looking for yovng attractive blonde for foot fetish scene. $300".. "Latinas wanted for POV, earn $$$ Today!!" .. and so on and so on. THEN I come across the single post on the page which was posted by a woman. I'll post the details: "BBW needs a group of men and a videographer for a group GB project I would like to tape at my place. This is a long time fantasy of mine and would like to gather as many men as possible to help with my project....film would eventually be used on a website....sorry no pay but you get to be with me!! Email me for specific time and day or anything else you would like to know.... " Notice anything plainly different from her post and the other posts I mentioned? Here's what I wrote as a response: " You sound like a typical woman- and by that I mean a woman who thinks the world is at her beck and call and that everyone else's money and time grows on trees. Look at what you're asking, and read back how it sounds if the genders were reversed: -'I'm a fat guy who needs a group of women and a female videographer for a GB project I would like to tape at my place. There is no pay for the women or the photographer; however and I will eventually use the film on a website where I can stand to try to turn a great profit at your expense. Though there is no pay for you, you should still be happy enough just to be with a fat guy like me!!' Now why exactly would you think to get favorable responses to this?" _______ _______ I've got plenty of anecdotal examples of a similar theme, so this is certainly not indicative of only this one woman. Why is it apparent that women so often seem to feel as the world as her playground, and as men (including government, society in general, and literally just males) as their 'daddy'? As if the onus is on men to take care of women- while still acknowledging them as equals?!? How ridiculous and infantile. Fereshte- We go around and around the 'generalization' issue on this site daily. Does a person need to have signed confessions from 51% of all women across the earth in order to make an argument that something is 'generally' true? How would you then advise me to go about substantiating an argument of which I feel is generally true about women? - Or are you making the claim that people are too different to even make general claims or ask general questions; thereby also rendering this site itself seemingly useless?
