Open Question: Why do so many guys have a foot or shoe fetish?

I love a pair of high heels as much as the next guy and find it very erotic but there are many more fetishes than just shoes or feet! I also love beautiful long painted fingernails, bondage gear or nurses outfit, kinky(or no) underwear, Leather, PVC. silk etc, dramatic hair and heavy makeup, exotic piercings etc. but why are most guys who have a fetish seem to be shoes(sometimes hair)? And of course stockings and suspenders! I DO like pretty feet with painted toenails but some guys ONLY like feet!
