Open Question: How do I turn on my guy friend?

My friend is in the closet and he has a foot fetish. I know he wants to take my shoes off when we sit across each other at lunch. So I feel like messing with him. I want to take my shoes off and play footsie with him. How do I start? How do I not be afraid to do this?
