Open Question: how to help friend with low self esteem.?

One of my friends has low self esteem and is now going out with a total creep that I use to date. I dumped him after he told me he had a foot fetish but he approached my friend with low self esteem and she is dating him. She says that she enjoys hanging out with him and it sounds like he is controlling her. She use to dress very self conscious and wore modest clothing. Now she is buying all kinds of sandals, revealing dresses, and now even goes to get a pedicure just for him. She isn't creeped out at all about his fetish and even says she loves receiving foot massages and even asked him to kiss her feet. I've told her that she can do better than some messed up guy with a foot fetish but she thinks this guy is "sweet". How do I lift her self esteem and avoid this creep who is taking advantage of her low self esteem?
