Open Question: Is it safe to bring a harmless shoe fetish into public?

I have a fetish for a leather indoor soccer shoe. Whether it be on or off my foot, i seem to get aroused by them.. Would it be weird to go into hooters with said shoes on and try and get my waitress to notice them on me by talking about them in some way?
