Open Question: Has trash talking gone to far amongst teams in the NFL?

Right look at the Jets/Patriots build up. Rex Ryan declares this as bigger than superbowl 3, saying it as a battle between him & BB. Then Cromartie comes out and yells obscenities at Brady much lead by multiple uses of the F-word in a press conference, (someone who should be seen as a role model) Then Brady responds with lets let our play do the talking. Following this Keller and Scott have come out and taking personal shots at the Pats. Then Wes Welker with some class and subtley by mentioning 11 foot refrences (aimed at Rex Ryans foot fetish) in a 9 minute press conference. However that to me is all within reason, but today Bart Scott said in response has shocked me. "Be very careful what you say about our coach. His [Welker's] days in... a uniform will be numbered. Put it like that." This guy has come back from ACL & MCL surgery and had 400 catches in 4 seasons. Only a thug would take a personal shot like that, never wish a career ender on anyone; not even a rival Bunch of Thugs are the New York Yets. I am fine with trash talking and media hype, just not personal shots
