Open Question: Peculiar fetish - martial arts related.?

I'm very interested in sports psychology, but this is an interesting one and it comes from someone I know pretty well. He has a kind of strange turn-on. To be precise, he gets off on womens' judo, and even more precisely he gets off big time on the grappling part. I don't remember the precise name of it, but it's the part when someone's been thrown and the fight continues on the ground. He said that watching women grapple and - in particular - hold each other down - is essentially a sexual experience for him. He has been as far as asking women (who can do judo) to do it to him, and he said that it was a similar feeling to sex. He got (how to put this delicately) the same physical reaction that most men would get from watching pornography or other such sexually-oriented things. He doesn't know why he gets off on this. He has hypothesised that it could be a submissive personality crossed with a foot fetish (and by all accounts he has a major foot fetish; he says that womens' wrestling, for example, does nothing for him at all), but I wouldn't know. I only have a little experience with the martial arts, and none at all with judo. Having said that, after listening to him talk about it, I would google search images relating to womens' judo and I can - to a limited extent - see what he's on about. There does seem to be something slightly erotic about two fit athletes grabbing and holding each other. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if gay men find something similar in men's wrestling or judo.This sounds disrespectful to judo, but I don't think he sees it that way.Still, this isn't so much a question as a kind of discussion starter. Any judo people who are out there who can comment on this, it could lead to some kind of understanding of my friend's interesting quirk.For instance, if men and women train together in judo, is there a problem with fighting on the ground with the other gender?As a man, if a woman were to hold you down, would you consider it embarrassing, sexually arousing, both, neither....?If you were to hold down a woman, would you consider there to be something sexual in this? And if you did, would you feel bad about thinking so?Hope these questions are understood as hypothetical and based on curiosity.
