Open Question: Why are men embarrassed to have foot fetishes but not embarrassed to have fart fetishes?

The odds of finding a man who is open about his foot fetish and not embarrassed to make it known that he has one are very small. Men, in general, are embarrassed to have a foot fetish. However, there are many men who are not ashamed about having a fart fetish, and these men will often fart out loud when their friends are around (and sometimes even in public) just to get people to laugh. They don't care that they are getting laughed at and often will even take pride in making such loud farts. Ok, I do realize that "fart fetish" may not be an appropriate term to describe someone who gets a kick out of farting out loud, but you get the idea. So can someone please explain to me why men are ashamed about having a sexual interest in women's feet but are not ashamed to pass gas out loud and get laughed at for it.
