Open Question: Are there any health risks to indulging in a foot fetish?

A friend of mine wants to indulge a fantasy of his by kissing the soles of another man's bare feet. He'll probably have to pay someone he finds on the web. I told him this is somewhat risky because a) someone else could have had his tongue all over the guy's feet before my friend gets to them and my friend could pick up those germs; b) when the guy sh0wers he's standing barefoot in all the muck that comes off his body and my friend would pick up germs from that. Or, the guy could have sh0wered at the gym without flip flops and walked around the sh0wer room and change room picking up who know what. Am I too cautious? Are these genuine risks? Thanks.
