Why do I keep getting "file not found" when clicking on the link??All the rapidshare.de files here,I mean.........

I'm using XP home.Is it due to some new software of this OS that disables copy and paste onto the address bar?

nothing wrong on your end. that is just one of the disadvantages of the rapidshare service. if there is no download activity after a certain number of days (can't recall if it is 30 or 60), basically rapidshare will delete the file.

it's crazy but they tend to have one of the shortest lifetimes for file deletion/expiration.

So do you guys just leave the links up when they expire or what?

that's an unfortunate effect of the choice of fileshare.

i recommend megarotic.com so the links never expire. some people prefer to other fileshare's like rapidshare where expiration happens sooner.

just depends on the preference. too many links to check the history and actively monitor for expiration and then delete. some of them you just have to catchem while they're good. the sexuploader.com links usually stay around a lot longer.

me personally, i am never uploading to rapidshare again because of all the good stuff i uploaded in the past and is now expired. just my rant.
