Open Question: For those with a foot fetish, can you explain your feelings about feet in a way others can understand?
 

There are all kinds of fetishes in this world and a foot fetish is actually not at all uncommon. I just don't understand it. It doesn't gross me out or make me mad or make me want to shun those who have it. I just don't get it. In the mind of a foot fetishist, what is it about feet that makes them relatively more attractive than say, a woman's chest or behind, or a man's behind or his chest? What is it about the shape of the toes or the shoes the person wears that gives you a sexual thrill? I was married to a woman with a foot fetish who was first drawn to me because of my wing-tip shoes for some crazy reason. At first, I thought she was joking. Later I learned, no...it was a serious thing. She got off on certain kinds of men's shoes, even though she was no big collector of women's shoes herself. I appreciate stylish, well-made footwear too (e.g. leather boots for men OR women), but I've never obsessed over it or gotten a sexual thrill from focusing on it. So help me understand what the higher than average attraction is such that is crosses over into "Fetish Land."
