Open Question: Is it common for an adult like me to wish and pretend I am still being hugged by my parents?
 

I still pretend my parents are hugging, or semi snuggling with me. I am a single 30 year old with learning disabilities in the moderate range. I don't date and am considered non-sexual where I likely never will. I pretend I am somewhere like camping in the fall with a parent, usually my Dad whom I am closer to, and pretend I am getting a hug where I am up against him like a 9 year old snuggling. It is nothing sexual at all but just unusual so I wondered if it is unheard of or something that is rare but out there like adult thumbsuckers or people with foot fetish. I heard of adult babies where adults one to live like a toddler but I don't have it to that 3xtreme at all, its only he safety of being hugged and up against Mom or Dad like I would have had at age 8 or 9.
