Open Question: Why am I like this, any advice?
 

I have a foot fetish and am 23 years old. Yesterday I had a long text convo with my mum about it. She already knew about my fetish but was unaware that I thought her feet were nice, i dont think this bothered her but when i asked if i could ever rub them for her and smell them, the smelling i really wanted to do, she was adamant that it was wrong. I can understand this, i can't understand why she was dead against it though, the foot rubs she says she doesnt like anyway, which is fine, but I don't see what harm there is in me having a small sniff of her feet, i know it seems weird but i think it's completely harmless and nobody gets hurt so no big deal. I seemed to keep asking and asking, to no avail lol. I know she's my mum and that stuff like this is frowned upon, so does that mean that my desire to smell her feet is a bad thing, mentally, on my part? I think it may be because, she is my mum and i would like to know how my own mums feet smell, that is all. I'm being crazy aren't I? :(
