Open Question: Is My Boyfriend Hiding a Foot Fetish?
My boyfriend and I have been together for nine months, and we have been friends for several years.During the entire time I have known him, I have heard him mention several times that he hates feet, that they are disgusting, and that he is aversive to touching anyone's feet and the like, which never really seemed odd to me, because I know a lot of people are grossed out by feet for whatever reason.However, I get the feeling that maybe he just claims he hates feet to cover the fact that he actually has a foot fetish. For example, we have been in restaurants before in the summer where I have been wearing sandals, and he has subtlely reached down and started massaging my foot under the table (with other guests at the table, mind you). Also, during sex, if I am on top, he will reached around my legs and grab my feet and start rubbing them.Anyway, it won't bother me at all if he has a foot fetish, I am just not really sure what the deal is, so I'd appreciate any reponses! Thanks!He is 24 years old, and he is from a really great family, and was raised almost entirely by his mother, because his father was constantly traveling for business and never at home. His family is wonderful, but sort of emotionally closed-off, so I am wondering if he has always hidden this because he didn't feel like he would be accepted or normal because of it?
