Resolved Question: Is it normal for a mother to kiss son all over?
 

This has been weirding me out a bit but my wife likes to kiss our son (18 months old) all over the place. She kisses him on the lips, neck, hands, feet, butt and even genitals. When I kiss my son, it's usually on his cheeks, never on his lips, because...well I'm a guy too. I asked her why does she do that, I don't feel comfortable with it, it almost looks like a weird fetish thing. She says that she loves him so much she can't resist the adorableness. She then asked me howcome I myself don't show that kind of affection when it's my own son! She also says that he's still a baby, obviously there's no foul intentions, and that she won't get to kiss him the same way when he gets older.Is this just some weird motherly thing or is this not normal? I don't understand...
