I'm pretty sure I'm gay, and I'm honestly tired of hearing people say that they're born that way. There's only two ways I can think of that someone can be born gay: 1: there's a "gay gene" that makes people attracted to the opposite sex. Which honestly makes no sense to me, considering both my parents are straight, their parents are straight, and to my knowledge, their parents are straight. 2: a chemical imbalance in the brain. Just like a myriad of other "mental diseases." I'm sorry, but I don't want my sexuality to be a disease. And before people start flaming me, I'm gay. I'm just angry at the theories that have been used to explain how people can be born gay. Are people born with foot fetishes? Are you born disliking the taste of certain foods? Seriously, if there's another way to explain how I was born this way, let me know. I just know it's not genetics, and I know it's not a disease. And no, I didn't choose to be gay either. It just happened.
