Default Open Question: People who are always barefoot: how do you land on your feet when you walk/run?

Do you land on your heels or on your fore-foot, e.g. the front part or the "balls of your feet"?The reason why I'm asking this question is not because of some weird foot fetish, but because there was a study published in the journal Nature earlier this year which found that habitually barefoot runners often land on the fore-foot. To quote from the article:"We wondered how runners coped with the impact caused by the foot colliding with the ground before the invention of the modern shoe. Here we show that habitually barefoot endurance runners often land on the fore-foot (fore-foot strike) before bringing down the heel"(Source: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal...e08723.html)So, I'm wondering about the walking pattern of those of you who are habitually barefoot, or go barefoot for long periods (e.g. the whole summer)? Or do you run one way and walk another? Thanks for answering my question!
