Everytime I get new tennis shoes they look/smell great for about a week then they get awful smelling! Each time I get new one's I wear them for about half a day before giving them a break from my feet and wearing my old pair for the rest of the day. I always wash my feet before wearing them, so I don't know why they smell SO bad. This time I bought new shoes and some strong spray that's supposed to keep them smelling good. It's been about a week and so far so good, but I know that it won't work forever. So my question is how can I keep them smelling great? Are there certain socks that keep your feet from sweating so much? I do quite a bit of hard work and I'm on my feet all day long. I've thought about taking an extra pair of socks to work with me and about half way through the day, switching to a new pair. I've tried baking soda in the past and that's a joke, even after emptying all of it out it just made my feet sweat 10x worse. I'll never do that again! I know a lot of people are going to reply with "wash your feet" but I do, I scrub them every morning in the sh0wer so I don't know what to do, I can't afford a new pair of shoes every month. My last pair smell disgusting. I feel embarassed to wear them to work because I know people can smell them, it smells like rot mixed with feet that's been soaking in the sewer. I think I might sell them online to some guy with a shoe fetish who wants the worst smelling shoes ever! HELP PLZ!
