Open Question: Are homeless beards on guys sexy?

My ex made a post about how sexy her dudes beard is and how attached she is to it. I mean this isn't a trendy beard or a cool long shaped up beard. I'm talking a full blown gross homeless guy beard. Is this a weird fetish like feet or what? We are not close but we check in on each other from time to time. It was really different to me like whats next wrap yourself in snakes or something. It's none of my business but I just got a messed up feeling like she has a problem with drugs. I hope my ego is just bruised.
