Open Question: Is foot sniffing bad for you?

I have this friend, who has a foot fetish of course and part of this includes sniffing others feet (really smelly). I am ,however, really concerned about him. I'm worried he might get brain damage from doing this, maybe some of the fungi or bacteria could harm his mind and I'm really worried. Could somebody tell me if he is going to be okay and maybe describe some of the effects from this.I know it's really disgusting and it makes me feel sick.
