Open Question: Foot fetishism is all over the web and one of the biggest fetishes in the world..but why is it kept secret and?

.....why is it never acknowledged or mentioned in normal day to day society? I have a foot fetish, I have had for as long as I can remember...but what continues to boggle my mind is that as big as Foot Fetishism is....(i mean look at the web alone) and the fact that statistically it's the one of the biggest in the world... ....how come i have never once come across another person (in the real world) mention or talk about it.... its like i really do feel like i am the only one.... i have kept mine a secret for obvious reasons just like most others... fear of what people would think and say... i understand there must be more people who i do meet on a daily basis who also have this fetish...i mean statistically there must be some people i know right?.....and i understand why we keep it quiet......but what about those people who dont have the fetish...have they not heard of it? it strikes me as unbelievable that its never once come up in a passing conversation.... ...i have heard the topic of feet come up....but even that is rare....but not once have i heard any people discuss foot fetishism, or anything sexual about feet. yet so many girls wear foot revealing shoes and its all too common for women to complain their feet ache...and lets not forget its "ok" to mention desiring or recieving a foot massage...yet no one seems to acknowledge this as a sexual activity.... it drives me crazy feeling so alone....even though i know there are millions of us on the web....unfortunately i dont live in the internet... thoughts? answers? anything?
