Open Question: Does your favorite director have any.. "quirks"..?

You know, just an odd habit, or something about them that isn't normal. Do they find a way to incorporate that into their films? I guess the best example here would be Quentin Tarantino's foot fetish. Tarantino is.. fascinated.. by feet, and he usually always finds fun, and sometimes strange ways to put feet in his film. This is clear in Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Vol. 1, Death Proof and the film he wrote and had a supporting role in, From Dusk Till' Dawn.
