Busted for filming Feet, but is set free

(3/29/07 - SANTA CRUZ, CA) - A cameraman was caught with some creepy video footage. The man was surreptitiously videotaping female feet in the science library at University of California, Santa Cruz, campus police said. "Officers indicated he was embarrassed by his behavior," university spokesman Jim Burns said Monday. "He offered no resistance to the request that he leave immediately and indicated he would not be back."

It's not illegal to videotape feet so no charges were filed. The name of the man, who was in his 40s and had no affiliation with the university, wasn't disclosed. He was banned from the campus for two weeks.


Vince Nova, manager of the Science and Engineering Library, said the man was seen pointing a small video camera in the vicinity of three students' feet. One of the students confronted the cameraman and he fled.


One of the female students spotted him again last Wednesday, and campus police were called. A campus officer searched the man's bag and inspected the camera.


"From the taped contents of his camera, the subject of his filming seemed to be 'feet,'" the officer wrote in his report.


Graduate student Nellie Chu said she wasn't concerned.


"It's odd, but I don't think there's any need to jump to conclusions," Chu said. "Maybe he was doing research."

Hee hee, this guy is my hero! I don't see that he committed any crime. I bet he would go home and play the video tape and jack off as he watched the cuties he had video taped Boy's I'd surely like to meet this guy, cause we could have alot of fun together. I like a guy that is sick enough, perverted enough, and dares to try and get away with doing something such as this. I'd love to see some of his handy work too,, hee hee bet he has got some real nice footage on video. I would be embarrassed to if I did this and got caught, but thats the chance you have got to take. I plan on doing this very same thing this summer with my new digital camera I bought. I plan on getting some nice pics of babes wearing pumps!!! I just recently came across this post, I always enjoy reading these stories. I cant belive how easy the university went on the guy, I would have expected much worse. Also I cant belive the guy returned to the scene, I dont think he was all that embarrassed because he returned. I also like how Graduate student Nellie Chu dint really seem to care, I wonder what she really thinks about the event I dont really think she belived he was doing some research. I wonder what her feet look like.
